One of the great things about Prego is that as well as the restaurant the proprietors have built accommodation into the mix, which has been recently been awarded 3 stars restaurant with rooms by Visit Wales.

Prego has eight rooms, all with TV's, coffee and tea-making facilities, en-suite bathrooms, hairdriers etc and offers guests a pleasent lounge lit during the day by a lovely roof skylight.

Located in the heart of Monmouth's old town

Located in Church Street, the pedestrianised centre of the old part of Monmouth town does, though, make it an ideal place to stay. Free of a lot of traffic noise, it is also quiet and has ample public parking right outside the back door.
