Bistro Prego opened at the turn of 2006/2007 and offers not only an excellent range of fine food and wine but also eight well-appointed rooms all for people visiting Monmouth. For these reasons alone it would be a welcome addition to the town.
"Prego is all about using quality locally sourced produce to create great flavours but with no over-the-top frills or overly complicated knick-knacks," explains Head Chef Steve Robbins.
"We have a daily menu which changes on a weekly basis depending on what locally sourced seasonal produce is available". People can feel free to come in for a quick snack or indulge in a three course meal".
